I remember watching mama mia with my mom about a month before she passed away. During this scene she started sobing and I didn’t really understand at the time, I hugged her and tried to comfort her, I was only about 11. Now I realize that it was because she knew she would never get to have this with me, she’d never see me grow up or get married. Now I’m 18 and enrolling in college.
I love you mom, I hope I make you proud.
